Bente Dorte is the only traditionally rigged sailing ship in Croatia offering sail training, hands on sailing using traditional methods, island charters and ethno-sailing. Bente Dorte has been in Croatia since 2008, and during the summer of 2009 we explored just about every island in the Croatian archipelago. We have discovered hide-away coves, wineries, mysterious prison islands, abandoned pirate fortresses and much more. We are ready to set off on many more journeys, meet many more people and to share the unique beauty of Croatia with new crews.

Each persons skills and interest are attended to, whether you are a total novice or a salty sea bear!
