PAYING CREW

The concept of sailing on Bente Dorte is that of active participation. On Bente Dorte YOU are the crew! We will show you the ropes, and how to handle them. we will teach you well, because without you we can't sail. And there is a job for everyone on board regardless of physical limitations, previous experience or interests. Our job as crew manager/first mate and skipper is to ensure that each crew member is given the opportunity to participate according to his/her abilities, skill level, previous experience etc. So instead of being charter guests, you are paying crew. Simple!

Traditional Croatian boats are raced throughout the summer season in Murter, Komiza, and more such events are being planned. The biggest media event of the summer 2009 was the Rota Palagruzona, and of course Bente Dorte was there! This reGatta has become one of the highlights of the summer for us. Bente Dorte attended this prestigious traditional regatta in 2010 and we are of course going to be there in 2011! As paying crew you can book Bente Dorte for one of the regattas of the 2011 season. You will be participating in all events surrounding the regattas, such as the crew ceremonies, awards ceremonies, crew dinners and festivities and of course the races!
